Owner's Insight
"We’ve absolutely loved our time on Cary Park Road, it’s been such a happy home for our family. If we could pick it up and take it with us to East Devon, we truly would! Work commitments and being closer to our parents are the only reasons for our move.
This house has been everything we could have hoped for, spacious, comfortable, and perfect for family life. The level garden has been wonderful for the children to play in, and having a garage and parking has made things so easy day to day.
Our two children attend the local primary and secondary schools, both just a short distance away. We’ve enjoyed having Plainmoor swimming pool and Torquay United just beyond Spires College behind us, and we’ll really miss our walks with the dog to Cary Park, Walls Hill, and the stunning views from Babbacombe Downs, all within a mile of our doorstep."
Step Inside
A double glazed entrance door with stained and leaded light detailing opens to the vestibule with glazed inner door. The spacious reception hall has exposed painted floorboards and understairs cloakroom. The sitting room features a warming cast iron open fireplace with heavy pine surround and mantel, and the room is bathed in light through the bay window. The adjoining dining room enjoys a westerly aspect toward the rear garden, and exposed painted floorboards. The kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with a range of deep blue painted units and work tops in a woodblock effect with sink. Built-in electric oven and four ring gas hob with filter hood, provisions for dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Breakfast bar, tiled floor, picture window overlooking the rear garden, and further side door and window.
Step Upstairs
From the Reception Hall the staircase rises to the first floor landing with loft access hatches to the rear and main sections. The first floor affords a traditional four bedroom design, with bedrooms one and two being generous doubles with bedrooms one and three overlooking the front, two and four with views over the rear garden. The family bathroom has been enhanced by our clients with a modern suite of panelled bath with shower attachment taps and electric shower over, basin and WC. Cupboard housing the gas boiler, heated towel rail and obscure glazed window.
Step Outside
The rear garden is level and enclosed, ideal for family entertainment, young children, and pets. There is a sizeable patio leading to a lawned area of garden with access down the side to a gate opening to the rear service lane with parking area in front of the garage. The garage has natural light and a personal door to the garden. The front garden is mainly gravelled for ease of maintenance enclosed by walled boundaries.
