About this property
"We've loved living here for four years, and honestly, we're only moving because we need more space – we're actually staying in the area because we love it so much. Being on the border of St Werburgh's and Montpelier has been fantastic. There's so much going on and loads of great pubs around. Our perfect weekend is getting up on Saturday morning and collecting fresh sourdough and pastries from our neighbour who bakes for the local streets. Then we'll go for a little run around the quirky eco-houses in the centre of St Werburgh's before stopping off for a pint at Wiper and True Brewery. We're also within walking distance of Gloucester Road, plus you've got two train stations nearby so you can be in Clifton or Temple Meads in five minutes and go onwards from there. The road is a cul-de-sac so it's super quiet despite being so close to all the action. The neighbourhood has such a lovely feel – we've got a WhatsApp group with all our neighbours where we share tools, give things away, and have little community parties every now and then."
The home
A stylishly presented mid-century terraced home with oodles of natural light due to its elevated position, vast window coverage and large rooms. Walking through the entrance hall into the showstopping open plan ground floor, you are greeted with an instant sense of space with a direct line of sight through to the rear garden. The contemporary kitchen is chic and cleverly designed and the reception with its beautiful stripped floors and log burner it's the perfect space for family time, entertaining or just chilling out. The main bedroom is the full width of the rear of the house with views across the St Werburghs skyline and the second bedroom an excellent double adjacent to the super on trend bathroom. A great home for a young family in such a quiet spot.
Outside
The home has two great gardens, the front faces West and id ideal for raised beds or even a veggie patch whilst the rear is large, secluded and has ample sunny and shady spots to enjoy a coffee or something stronger with friends. There's the added benefit of a single garage a short stroll away.
Living in Milverton Gardens
Milverton Gardens is a residential cul-de-sac on the borders of St Werburghs and Montpelier, two of Bristol’s most popular areas as well as being within easy reach of the ever-popular eateries and restaurants of Cheltenham Road and Gloucester Road, such as The Bristolian and The Crafty Egg, as well as the smaller high streets such as Picton Street in Montpelier and and Mina Road in St Werburghs, which offer their own selection of popular independent bars and attractions. For commuters, the building is extremely well placed for a short walk or cycle into Bristol City Centre.
Buses run frequently up and down the A38 and train transport is available across the city via nearby Montpelier and Redland train stations. For those looking for access to green space, the Albany Road is within close proximity to Albany Green, the Narroways nature reserve and the expansive St Andrew’s Park.
