"We love that the character and history of the building has been left intact. We’ve had fun adding some modernity to the original Edwardian features but we’ve always been about celebrating that history and allowing it to be the focus point in every room. I think our favourite part of the house is the garden in the summer, it’s such a suntrap, then in the winter there is nothing better then putting a few logs on the fire and getting cozy on the sofa watching a family film. We love this particular side of East Ham and the Central Park estate offers a real community vibe. We’re a couple of minutes walk to two big parks and we love the cafe in Central Park, which also do the best sourdough to go. Our street and the streets around are mostly made up of families and it feels incredibly safe, the kids are able to play out on the street and everyone looks out for each other. We’ve loved living in this house for the last seven years, it has a really good energy to it and the space has worked so well for us over the years, we’ve built a lot of happy memories here and leaving will be very bitter sweet."
