Brickworks says
Nestled in a peaceful corner of South Tottenham, there’s an inviting, down-to-earth vibe that immediately appeals. Nice perks are evident from the off, with your own front door, convenient storage space off the hallway and decorative cornicing that hints at the building’s Victorian heritage. The living area is spacious with a welcoming, cosy atmosphere: Your eyes are naturally drawn to the bay window, which bathes the room with light through new double-glazed sash windows.
The rest of the flat calmly delivers soothing tones, creating a gentle ambience. Modern, simple, and stylish, each room expresses the same design language, such as the tasteful bathroom and contemporary kitchen. The bedrooms are both good-sized and look out toward the real charmer of a garden, complete with a patio that wraps around the building for chasing the sun into the evening.
Varty Road sits in a quiet pocket of North London, yet it is surrounded by a wealth of international culinary delights on your doorstep - from the world’s first Nigerian tapas bar, Chuku’s, to Angel’s Brazilian Bakery. Its location also makes it easy to explore nearby neighbourhoods like Tottenham and Stoke Newington, as well as getting your fix of green spaces at one of the many nearby parks or take a dip year-round at West Reservoir.
The owners say
We adore living at Vartry Road and will be very sad to say goodbye. The area feels like a calm oasis with many local green spaces, whilst still offering brilliant travel links into town.
The property itself immediately impressed us with its larger-than-average size for the area and substantial London garden. Our summer barbecues have become renowned and there's plenty of room for a paddling pool, which both grown-ups and kids can enjoy. The local community groups are active and supportive - as well as an annual community party, there are regular fitness and social classes in the park around the corner.
The flat is close to Clapton and Stoke Newington's many bars and cafes, as well as many parks and natural spots, such as Woodbury Wetlands, where you can wild swim, sail and paddle board year-round.
