The house has a lovely location, close to great amenities; with plenty of parks, cafes and local shops, yet the town centre not being too far away either. The area is blessed with some really good schools and there are great transport links. Our children have grown up being able to learn to bike ride and roller skate within the peaceful cul- de-sac and enjoyed many days in our garden on climbing frames and undertaking trampoline competitions. There is a real community feel to the Close and there have been various neighbour gatherings to celebrate events such as ve day and the Queen’s jubilee over the years we have lived here. The house is so versatile, having changed uses of rooms as our demands and family has grown. There is plenty of space to entertain, celebrating birthdays, Christmas and other gatherings. We were drawn to the way that so much light flows throughout the house. We particularly love the kitchen which is so bright and airy and has played host to many family meals.
