Owners Comments...
From the moment we first saw our house, we knew it was the one - it instantly felt like home. It has been a place of comfort, joy, and countless memories for our family. Throughout our time living in this house, we’ve felt that the best highlight is the amount of natural light that comes through, especially in the living room. We've shared some wonderful
moments here with friends, from hosting unforgettable birthday parties to simply enjoying
good times together.
We have modified the open plan layout of the kitchen with a glass partition door which lets in natural light as well as enhancing the floor layout. With two generously sized double bedrooms, our home has provided the perfect space for comfort and relaxation.
The neighborhood is peaceful and welcoming, with wonderful neighbors and convenient access to schools, parks, and shopping. While we're excited to begin our next chapter, this home will always hold a special place in our hearts. We truly hope the next owners will love living here as much as we have.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...
Tucked away on Fawn Drive with no passing traffic, this gem of a home is perfect for anyone who enjoys peace, quiet, and a bit of privacy. Step inside and you’ll see just how super unique this place really is. Originally designed with an open plan layout downstairs, the current owners have worked their magic and added a stunning glass panel wall between the kitchen and lounge. It subtly separates the space without blocking any of that gorgeous natural light - very clever and classy!
At the front of the house, you’ll find the kitchen and a handy downstairs W.C, while the huge lounge stretches out across the back of the property, leading straight onto the south-west facing garden, ideal for soaking up the sun or enjoying a lazy BBQ evening. There's even storage under the stairs which is just super handy.
Upstairs, things just get better. There are two enormous double bedrooms with a family bathroom right in the middle, making the layout super practical families.
And to top it all off, there’s parking right out the front so another reason that these homes are super popular!

Welcome to Three Mile Cross, a well-connected village just three miles south of Reading, tucked along the historic Basingstoke Road. It offers a lovely semi-rural feel and a strong sense of community, making it perfect for those who want a quieter pace of life without sacrificing convenience. Commuting is a breeze here, you’re just minutes from Junction 11 of the M4, with the Mereoak Park & Ride nearby and the new Green Park train station offering quick and easy links into Reading and London.
Day to day essentials are covered, too. There’s a handy Budgens store and the much loved Swan Pub just a short stroll away. For a wider choice of shops, restaurants and pubs, both Shinfield and Lower Earley are just up the road. And when it’s time for some shopping, you’ve got options, head to Wokingham for market town charm or dive into the buzz of Reading’s Oracle for big name brands and riverside dining. Wherever you turn, Three Mile Cross offers the best of both worlds, peaceful village life with everything you need close at hand.
