    Situation
26 Sealstrand, Dalgety Bay, is a spacious all on one level detached bungalow of individual architectural design, the house is of white painted harled exterior and under a pitched slated roof. The house is set amid mature south facing gardens to the north side of which is a mono bloc surfaced driveway and vehicle standing hard apron, a raised bark mulched bed and a monobloc pathway leading to the entrance door. The gardens to the south side are a real feature, extending as they do to the Fife Coastal path and the foreshore of the Firth of Forth. Sealstrand is a mature cul-de-sac on the north shore of the Firth of Forth from where there are breathtaking views across The Bay of Dalgety to Inchcolm Island and its historic Abbey, the views extend in the distance to include Edinburgh's skyline, including the Castle and Arthur's Seat.

The name 'Sealstrand' is inspired by the distinctive rock located approximately 50 metres offshore from No. 26. This natural landmark, known as 'Seals' Rock, ' is where grey seals and their pups can be spotted, particularly in November, when around 500 are born in the surrounding shores. Dalgety Bay, Scotland's first 'enterprise town' dating back to 1965, is located on the southern coast of Fife between Inverkeithing and Aberdour, a short distance from the Forth bridges and within an easy commute into Edinburgh whether by train from Dalgety Bay station or by road. Dalgety Bay has two Primary schools, with Secondary education available in Inverkeithing and Dunfermline. Dalgety Bay also benefits from a wide selection of amenities including an Asda Superstore, with further amenities available in Inverkeithing and the historic and pretty village of Aberdour. Local beaches are renowned, the Silver Sands and Aberdour Black Sands being two of Fife's thirteen 2025 award winning beaches. The immediate area is ideal for walking and exploration, with historic sites such as St Bridget's Kirk, a 12th-century medieval church, less than a 10-minute walk away. The local sailing club, visible from the property, is also within easy walking distance, together with a sports and leisure centre, bowling club and art club also available locally. Aberdour also boasts Fife's only senior Shinty Club, together with a lovely parkland golf course.
