When we moved here in 2017, we were looking for a home with more outdoor space and the potential to make it our own. We found exactly that - a place full of possibility, in a lovely, peaceful neighbourhood. In 2019, we added a single-storey rear extension leading out onto the patio and garden, transforming the space into the open-plan living area we’d always imagined - light-filled, sociable, and perfect for both everyday family life and entertaining.
We’ve loved how the home flows seamlessly from indoors to outdoors, with the patio and garden becoming an extension of the living space, especially in the warmer months. The location has been equally special: Close to excellent schools, parks, and a great selection of local shops and coffee spots - all within walking distance of the train station. It’s wonderfully convenient, yet the countryside is just a few minutes away, offering the best of both worlds.
The area has a lovely, family-friendly feel. It’s peaceful, safe, and has that rare sense of community where people look out for one another.
It’s been a fantastic place to live, and we’ve made many happy memories here. Work commitments are now taking us out of Maidenhead, but we’ll be leaving behind a home and an area we’ve truly loved - and we hope the next owners enjoy it just as much as we have.
