Owners Comments...
In 1972 we had just returned from my father’s posting to Canada and were renting a house in Wokingham, when my parents’ best friends rang to say the house next door to theirs in Sherring Close had been put up for sale. They took one look, and made an offer. It was a wonderful family home for 50 years. I attended the Holt School in Wokingham and my father worked at the Ministry of Defence in London, so commuting from Bracknell was easy. My parents had the granny flat built for my grandmother who lived out the rest of her life there, enjoying the tranquil garden, as did both my parents. It’s a lovely family home with huge potential, Sherring Close is quiet and secure with friendly neighbours, and I look forward to another family enjoying living there.
Area Comments...
Sherring Close is tucked away just off Folders Lane in Bracknell, a quiet and sought-after location. The property is within walking distance of Bracknell town centre and the train station, making commuting or shopping simple. Local schools, Tesco in Warfield, and a range of green spaces, parks, and woodlands are all nearby, providing plenty of options for outdoor activities. The cul de sac is highly regarded for its community feel and privacy, making it ideal for families.
Ryan & Sanjay Comments...
Ryan grew up just opposite the entrance to Sherring Close, so he knows this area really well and it’s always been a spot people want to be. This home has so much potential to become an amazing family house. The extended space at the back, combined with the huge south west facing garden, gives you room for everything you could need – whether that’s a home office, playroom, or extra living areas. The property is clean and tidy, ready for someone to come in and make it their own, and the size of the plot really lets you imagine all the possibilities.
