Modern Two-Bed House With Garden & Parking In Sought-After Hartley Wintney Location
Seller’s View
We’ve absolutely loved living here - the area has such a friendly, peaceful feel and it’s got a real sense of community. The neighbours are lovely and always happy to help if you need anything. Being close to the high street has been so convenient for picking up bits and pieces, and the new supermarket in Hook gives us more choice for a bigger shop. The house itself has been a perfect first home for us - the two double bedrooms and great storage have made it really comfortable, and we’ll miss how easy and enjoyable it’s been to live here.
Jack's Comments
This is one of those homes that just works. It was built in 2014, so everything’s modern and well laid out. Downstairs you’ve got a handy entrance hall, a cloakroom/WC, and then it opens up into a nice open-plan kitchen and living area. It’s a great social space, and it leads straight out to the garden through the patio doors - ideal for a BBQ or just relaxing in the summer.
The garden’s got a good amount of space and there's a rear gate too which makes life easier. Upstairs there are two proper double bedrooms, loads of storage, and a smart refitted bathroom. You’ve also got two allocated parking spaces right outside, which is rare and super handy.
Whether you’re buying your first home or looking for something simple and modern in a brilliant village, this ticks a lot of boxes.
Area Comments
Hartley Wintney has a really lovely feel to it - it’s one of those villages where people actually stop to chat. You’ve got a proper high street with cafés, pubs, a bakery, local shops and even a little greengrocer. There’s a great sense of community, and lots of green space like the Commons and the duck pond if you like a walk.
Getting around is easy too - the M3 is nearby, and Winchfield Station gets you into London Waterloo in around an hour. There are good schools around and plenty to do, whether you're into cricket on the green or grabbing a coffee at the local café. It’s a place that feels like home pretty quickly.
Estate charge of circa £51.50 per month for the upkeep of the development.
