In Our Opinion
This is a fabulous 2-bedroom Victorian property in a prime location only minutes from Tonbridge town centre and main line station giving great access into London. The property has been beautifully maintained and enhanced by the current vendors with some great character features including stylish fire places, picture rails and 9-inch skirting boards. The accommodation is bright and airy throughout giving a spacious feel. This is really showcased in the large stunning first floor bathroom which has been refitted in keeping with the period of the property. The property also has a driveway which is a rare commodity in properties this close to the town centre.
We would highly recommend a viewing of the virtual tour to get a real feel of this lovely house, then book you early viewing appointment to avoid disappointment.

What attracted you to the property ?
The location to the train station and high street. The house’s Victorian characteristics and style including high ceilings, fire places, history & build quality. The driveway was also very important for us and rare in the area, within the price bracket.
What improvements have you made to the house ?
We improved the house throughout, apart from the side and rear external of the house and garden. Main points being a full re-design and refurbishment of the bathroom, fully double glazing throughout the entire property, full original floor restoration/laying of new carpets, under the stair cupboards, and full internal decoration.
What have you enjoyed about living there ?
We have loved being able to walk to everything we need. The community feel in the road and area as a whole. The feeling of safety throughout the area of Tonbridge. Endless dog walks, parks, playgrounds for kids and country pubs. We are not moving out of the area as we do not want to loose these things.
Transport
The mainline station provides fast commuter links into London (Cannon Street/London Bridge/Charing Cross in approximately 40 minutes) with road links to the M20 & M25 motorways via the nearby A26 and A21.
Location
Tonbridge town offers an excellent range of retail and leisure activities with many High Street stores and supermaket, together with a selection of coffee shops, eateries and bars. It also boasts a historic backdrop with a fine example of a 'Motte and Bailey' Norman castle built in the 13th century set on the banks of the river Medway. The castle grounds are adjacent to Tonbridge Park offering covered/open air swimming pool, tennis courts, children's play areas, miniature railway, putting etc. There are many places of interest in the surrounding areas including Penshurst Place and Gardens, Hever Castle, Knole House and Chartwell (once home to Winston Churchill).
Education
Tonbridge offers a full range of quality education options from Nursery to College and includes Grammar & Private schools such as the world-renowned Tonbridge School.
