We’ve absolutely loved living here, it’s truly been our home, not just a house. From the moment we moved in, it felt warm and welcoming, with high ceilings that make every room feel spacious and full of light, but not so tall that they feel imposing. There’s a really lovely balance between character and comfort here.
One of the things we’ve always appreciated is the amount of storage, it’s so practical and has made family life much easier. Over the years we’ve gradually made the space our own, adding little touches here and there, and most recently renovating the bathrooms, which we’re really proud of (and a bit sad to be leaving behind!).
The rooms are all generous in size, but the lounge is our favourite. It has such a relaxed, cosy vibe, perfect for quiet evenings in or lazy weekends. It’s one of those spaces that just feels good to be in.
We also love how convenient the location is. There are lovely green spaces nearby for dog walks and weekend exploring, yet we’re still just a short trip from Reading, Wokingham, and the M4, which makes getting around really easy. The local shops are a real bonus for everyday bits, and there are some fantastic places to eat close by too, we’ve had so many nice meals out without having to go far.
This has been such a happy home for us, full of memories, and we hope the next owners will enjoy it just as much as we have.
