This One’s An Absolute Beauty And With A Garden Like That, It’s Easily One Of The Best Two Beds!
Owners Comments...
We bought our home on Tabby Drive as our very first house, and after nearly five years here, it truly feels like home.
One of the things we’ve loved most is how many lovely walks are right on our doorstep - perfect for stretching our legs and letting our little dog run through the fields. The area feels peaceful yet well-connected, with friendly neighbours who are always up for a chat (and introducing you to their pets!).
The location has been ideal for us. Junction 11 is really close by, which makes commuting into Reading super easy – whether you're driving or hopping on the bus. The bus stop is just around the corner, right by Budgens, which has come in handy more times than I can count - especially for those late-night snack runs!
Over the years, we've poured our hearts into making the house our own. We love spending time outdoors, and the garden has become a special retreat for us. Weekends are usually spent planting flowers, watching them bloom, and enjoying visits from bees and butterflies. It’s also been the perfect setting for BBQs and garden parties with friends and family.
There are two great garden centres nearby – my favourite is Henry Street, mostly because of its amazing café (they do the best hot chocolate and cake!). There are also a few nice pubs within walking distance, and the Shinfield Arms is just a short drive or a longer walk away.
My husband’s a keen golfer, and he’s loved having Wokefield Estate just 10 minutes down the road – plus a few other good courses nearby to explore.
We’ll be really sad to say goodbye to our first home. It’s full of memories, from quiet evenings in the garden to lively gatherings with friends. We've put a lot of love into this house, and we hope the new owners will enjoy it just as much as we have.

Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...
This is a really special two bedroom home which has an immaculate finish throughout. Out the front you’ve got two side-by-side parking spaces (no juggling cars here), and being at the end of the row means a bit of extra privacy too. It also means you have a massive garden - one of the biggest we've seen for a two bed! It's been fully landscaped so ready for entertaining
Inside, it’s all really well finished. You come into a welcoming hallway with a downstairs loo, then it opens up into a lovely open-plan living space with the kitchen tucked in one end and big double doors at the back leading straight out to the garden.
Upstairs, there are two good-sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes, and a family bathroom in the middle.
These ones don’t hang about for long, give us a shout if you fancy a look!

Area Comments...
Three Mile Cross gets its name from being just three miles south of Reading, tucked along the old Basingstoke Road. It’s a small, semi-rural village with a real sense of character, split by the A33 and ideally placed for commuters with Junction 11 of the M4 just minutes away.
The village has a few handy local amenities, including a Budgens convenience store and the recently reopened Swan Pub, both just a short walk from the property. You’re also close to Shinfield and Lower Earley, which offer even more shops, pubs, and places to eat. For a bigger shopping trip, Wokingham’s charming market town vibe or Reading’s Oracle Shopping Centre will more than deliver. You’ve also got great transport links on your doorstep, including the Mereoak Park & Ride and the new Green Park train station, making that London commute quicker and easier than ever.
