Summary
Situated on exeter street, just off new village road in the sought-after village of cottingham, this traditional bay-fronted terrace offers a fantastic blend of character and modern living. With three bedrooms, a converted loft, and a beautifully landscaped rear garden, this home is perfect for a variety of buyers. Our Thoughts
This property is a real gem. From the moment you step inside, you can see the care and attention that has gone into maintaining and updating it. The entrance hall leads into a spacious open-plan lounge and dining room, which is a great space for relaxing or entertaining. The bay window at the front adds character and allows plenty of natural light to flood in, while the fireplace creates a cosy focal point.
The kitchen is a real standout feature, with its bespoke units and integrated appliances. It’s a space that feels both stylish and practical, perfect for everyday use. Upstairs, the main bedroom is impressive, with its own bay window and box seating, offering a lovely spot to unwind. The second double bedroom and generous single bedroom provide plenty of flexibility, whether for family, guests, or a home office.
The converted loft is a real bonus, offering additional space that could be used as a study, hobby room, or even a snug. Outside, the rear garden is well-maintained and offers a mix of patio and lawn, with a summer house and a storage space that could easily be transformed into a garden bar or workshop. The backdrop of mature trees adds a sense of privacy and greenery that’s hard to come by.
Owner's Thoughts
We’ve loved living here and have put a lot of thought into making this house a home. The open-plan living and dining area has been perfect for family time and hosting friends, and the kitchen has been a joy to cook in. The garden has been a real retreat for us, especially in the summer months when we’ve enjoyed sitting out on the patio or spending time in the summer house.
The location has been ideal – everything we need is close by, from shops and schools to transport links. Cottingham has such a lovely community feel, and we’ve always felt very at home here. The converted loft has been a fantastic addition, giving us that extra bit of space when we’ve needed it. We’re sure the next owners will love it here as much as we have.
Location
The village of Cottingham lies approximately five miles to the north west of the centre of Hull and is one of the most exclusive residential villages in the area. Good road connections are available as the Humber Bridge Northern Approach Road runs to the west of the village linking the Historic Town of Beverley with the Humber Bridge and the region's motorway network. There is a local train service available within the village connecting it with Hull, Beverley and the east coast beyond. There is a good choice of well-regarded schools, shops and restaurants with the added advantage of three private golf clubs within a 3 mile radius of each other.
Tenure
The tenure of the property is freehold.
