Summary
This stylish and well-maintained semi-detached home, built circa 2019, is situated within a popular development off Harland Way on the outskirts of Cottingham. Offering a great balance of modern living and convenience, the property is within easy reach of the village centre amenities and popular schools. The south-facing garden, driveway for two vehicles, and electric vehicle charge point add further appeal.
From the agent’s perspective
This property is a fantastic example of modern family living. The layout is practical and well thought out, with the ground floor WC and built-in storage in the entrance hall being particularly useful features. The lounge is bright and airy thanks to its dual aspect windows, while the kitchen-diner is a real highlight, offering plenty of space for both cooking and dining, with double doors leading out to the garden. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are all well-proportioned, with the principal bedroom benefiting from an en suite shower room. The south-facing garden is a lovely outdoor space, and the driveway with tandem parking and an electric vehicle charge point is a practical addition. This property is ideal for professionals, young families, or anyone looking for a modern home in a convenient location.
From the client/vendor’s perspective
We’ve loved living here since the house was built in 2019. The location is brilliant – it’s close enough to Cottingham village centre to enjoy all the shops, cafes, and schools, but far enough out to feel peaceful. The house itself has been perfect for us. The lounge is a great space to relax, and the kitchen-diner has been ideal for family meals and entertaining, especially with the doors opening out to the garden. The bedrooms are all a good size, and having the en suite in the main bedroom has been really handy. The garden is south-facing, so it gets plenty of sun, and the driveway has been great for parking both cars, especially with the electric vehicle charge point. We’re sure the next owners will love it as much as we have.
