About this property

This older style, two bedroom semi detached house is situated in a cul-de-sac location close to Coulsdon Common. The property is offered for sale with no onward chain and would benefit from some updating and modernisation. On the ground floor there is a double aspect 21' lounge/diner with fireplace as well as a basic kitchen which is in need of updating and overlooks the rear gardens. There is also a useful basement room that leads out to the garden and that could be incorporated into the living accomodation or used as storage. On the first floor there are two good sized double bedrooms and a large family bathroom. Outside, there are paved gardens to the front and the rear gardens step down from the property and are mainly laid to lawn with established borders. In our opinion the property offers some scope to extended either to the rear or into the loft subject to the usual consents.

Cromwell Road is a tucked away no through road that leads onto Coulsdon Common on the outskirts of Caterham. Caterham on the Hill benefits from a doctors, vets and hospital as well as number of restaurants, takeaways and pubs within the local area. There is a selection of local shops including a Tesco supermarket nearby whilst the bustling High Street offers a mix of smaller, independent shops including a butchers and bakers. There are leisure and fitness facilities on the village and at the De Stafford sports centre and the Surrey National golf course is also within a mile. Caterham on the Hill is surrounded by miles of open countryside including nearby Coulsdon Common with direct access at the bottom of the road leading on to Happy Valley and beyond. There is a selection of schools for children of all ages locally in the area. More comprehensive facilities can be found in Caterham Valley and there are regular buses nearby to Caterham, Purley and beyond. Trains to London are available from Coulsdon South, Upper Warlingham and Caterham and the M25 is approx 3 miles to the south.
