Offering extremely spacious and flexible family living, 47 Main Street is a traditional and very charming detached property built in 1874 and set within the desirable village of Dunshalt. The accommodation includes three reception spaces, four double bedrooms and two bathrooms, whilst the property also benefits from a driveway, garage and sunny rear garden. Dunshalt is ideally placed for commuting in all directions and lies less than 2 miles from historic Falkland.

Accommodation:
Ground Floor
The front door opens into an impressive entrance hall with original mosaic tiled flooring, and archways leading to the staircase and rear hall.

The sitting room sits to the left of the entrance hall and is a very generously proportioned room with high ceilings and retaining many original features. The room enjoys a dual aspect, receiving sunshine in both the morning and evening, and also features a gas fire, as well as plenty of space for a dining area if desired.

A bright second reception/family room is located off the other side of the entrance hall and benefits from an open fire. This leads through to bedroom 4, which is a double room which could also serve as a home office if required.

A rear hall leads to the dining kitchen and offers fitted storage, as well as an alcove with power, where the tumble dryer condenser is currently housed.

The spacious dining kitchen with exposed beams sits to the rear of the house and offers space for a large dining table. A multi-fuel stove brings a warm feel to the space, whilst fitted units in the kitchen provide ample storage space and leave room for freestanding appliances. A door leads out to the patio at the side of the house.

A utility room sits next to the kitchen, with a sink and plumbing in place for a washing machine.

An attractive bathroom with traditional cast iron bath, WC and hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation.

First Floor
The main staircase leads up to bedrooms one and two, and the shower room, whilst a second set of stairs in the rear hall access bedroom three.

Bedrooms one and two are both large double rooms, with dormer windows looking out to the front and rear of the property. Bedroom one also benefits from a large fitted wardrobe.

Bedroom three is a very generous double room with Velux windows allowing in lots of natural light. This room also has a fitted cupboard and access to eaves storage.

A bright shower room sits between bedrooms one and two, comprising a corner shower, WC, hand basin, and towel radiator.

Outdoor Areas:
Number 47 offers a garage, driveway and sunny, enclosed rear garden. The single detached garage is accessed via up -and-over and pedestrian doors.

The main part of the garden is mostly laid to lawn and bordered by shrubs, whilst there are patio areas to each side of the house, and two block-built sheds which benefits from power and light.

The village is an ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors, with many beautiful countryside and hill walks nearby. Falkland, with its historic palace and fantastic range of artisan shops and eateries lies less than two miles to the south.
