Sellers comments:
I moved to Caversham almost eighteen years ago from a remote part of Buckinghamshire. I searched extensively around the Reading area but from the start in Lower Caversham I have enjoyed the mixture of being close to a main station and great shopping area, but still remote enough to feel like village life.
The green spaces around the estate are brilliant in the warmer weather and the Thames is within ten minutes walk. There are at least three waterways in the Reading area, all exceptionally nice for walking along or just spending time watching the river go by.
I’ve lived on the estate since new and there’s always been a good general sense of community. It’s quiet without being dead and litter is not a real problem despite the number of children. Although there is no allocated car parking i’ve never had any issue with parking at any time of the day.
Debbie and Andre's View
This is a great sized apartment in a fabulous location. We really love the spacious feel and the light brought in from the many windows and Juliet balconies. The principal bedroom is especially large and bedroom two is also a double. Situated on the first floor the apartment would suit a single, couple or small family.
The bathroom has recently been refitted and the home really is a blank canvas to make your own. We love the fact that there are some great walks close by and that Caversham centre with its coffee shops and independent stores is just a short walk.
If you are a commuter to London or someone who works in Reading, it's just a few minutes walk into town or the station. In summer the river is really tranquil and must make for a beautiful early morning walk to work. If you are not a walker, don't worry, there is plenty of off street parking!
