About this property
"We’ve really enjoyed living in the Redfield/St George area. This house is very special to us as we have started a family here and we think it is the perfect area to do that. We love the local foodie spots and to have St George’s park on the doorstep is something we will really miss. A summer’s walk down the River Avon makes you feel like you are in a totally different space, not in the centre of a city!"
The home
A gorgeous three bedroom Victorian terrace which has recently been renovated throughout. The front reception room has been painted in Tuscan red creating a cosy atmosphere especially when the log burner is firing in the winter months and is full of character with the original floorboards, bay window and cornicing. The wood flooring continues through the hallway and into the dining room which also features built in storage. At the rear of the house we have the high spec Schmidt kitchen with a Quartz worktop, in-built Siemans appliances and a Quooker instant hot water tap. Heading upstairs we have three bedrooms, at the rear a suitable nursery / office space / guest room, then we have the newly installed three piece bathroom suite, followed by the second bedroom and finally the master bedroom. This room has built in cupboards fitted into the alcoves. Overall this is a beautifully decorated home which will be suitable for many.
Outside space
An inner city oasis with a variety of fruit trees and seating areas, the perfect spot to relax in the garden with loved ones and friends. New fencing has been added for additional privacy and there is also an outside toilet which has been replaced and redecorated as well as a brick storage area to keep tools. Victoria Avenue is also part of the livable neighbourhood scheme reducing traffic and improving streets for pedestrians.
Living in Redfield
Victoria Avenue is in a prime location on the borders of Whitehall, Redfield and Easton. The area has become hugely popular with young professionals and families in recent years. Church Road has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, such as the popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. St Marks Road in Easton also boasts a range of well-regarded venues such as Bristol Sweet Mart, Garden of Easton, alongside Thali. The proximity of St George's Park is also a huge benefit to local residents, offering a great retreat from city life on a summer's day.
