Summary
This stunning detached property on ferry lane offers over 2,000 square feet of versatile living space, finished to an exceptional standard. Located between the market town of beverley and the popular kingswood development, it’s perfectly placed for access to a wide range of amenities. With a south-facing rear garden, a fabulous open-plan kitchen, and a double garage/workshop, this home is ideal for families looking for space, style, and convenience.
From the Agent’s Perspective
This property is a real standout. From the moment you step into the entrance porch and reception hall, you’re greeted by a sense of quality and attention to detail. The double-sided wood-burning stove is a fantastic feature, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that flows into the open-plan living room and the impressive kitchen/dining area. The bi-fold doors leading to the decked terrace really bring the outside in, making it a great space for entertaining or relaxing.
The ground floor layout is incredibly flexible, with a double bedroom, shower room, and a second reception room that could be used as a home office, playroom, or even an additional bedroom. Upstairs, the principal bedroom is a real highlight, with fitted wardrobes and a stylish en suite. The other bedrooms are equally well-appointed, with one currently set up as a dressing room. The house bathroom is modern and well-finished, completing the first-floor accommodation.
Outside, the property continues to impress. The south-facing garden is beautifully landscaped, with a composite decked terrace, lawn, and a circular paved patio. The substantial detached garage/workshop is a fantastic addition, offering plenty of storage or workspace. The deep frontage provides ample parking, and the overall setting is private and peaceful.
From the Client’s/Vendor’s Perspective
We’ve loved living here and have put a lot of thought into making this house a home. The location has been perfect for us, with easy access to Beverley, Hull, and Kingswood for shopping, schools, and leisure. The open-plan kitchen and living area is where we spend most of our time – it’s such a bright and sociable space, especially with the bi-fold doors open in the summer.
The garden has been a real joy, offering plenty of space for the kids to play and for us to relax or entertain. The garage has been incredibly useful, not just for storage but also as a workshop. We’ve also appreciated the flexibility of the layout, with the extra reception room on the ground floor giving us options as our needs have changed over time.
We’re sure the next owners will enjoy this home as much as we have. It’s been a wonderful place to live, and we’re proud of the way it’s been maintained and presented.
