A bright and spacious two bedroom apartment set in a quiet location just moments from Regent’s Canal, measuring over a generous 869 sq ft.
Situated on the second floor of a highly regarded modern development on Dame Street, this beautifully presented apartment has been designed with both style and practicality in mind. A generous open plan living area with full height glazing floods the space with natural light, while the contemporary fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances flows seamlessly into the lounge. From here, doors open onto a private south facing balcony, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun or unwinding in the evening.
Both bedrooms are well proportioned and offer flexible space for storage or a home workspace. The sleek, modern bathroom features high end finishes and clever built in storage. Further benefits include a secure video entry system, bike storage and well maintained communal areas.
Set in a vibrant and well connected part of Islington, the apartment is just 0.6 miles from Angel Underground Station, providing swift access to the City and beyond. The immediate area is known for its independent shops, cafes and popular eateries, including the much loved Pophams bakery just around the corner. Upper Street and Essex Road are a short stroll away, offering an array of restaurants, boutiques and lively bars, while Regent’s Canal and Shoreditch Park are close by for those who enjoy green spaces and weekend walks.
The property is offered chain free.
Owners’ insights
What do you love about your home?
We have always loved the reception room. The size, combined with the large windows, means the light just floods into the space throughout the day. In the summer months we would often have the balcony door open so that the living area and balcony felt like one. It became a wonderful social space for friends and family. The dual aspect from the kitchen to the lounge also creates a lovely airflow, which keeps the apartment cool and comfortable.
Why are you selling?
We have now moved abroad for work and, with a young family, we will not be needing the apartment anymore. It will always be a special place to us, full of happy memories.
What do you love about the area?
In our opinion, this is the best area in London. The flat is in a very quiet, residential spot but is close to all the hustle and bustle of Angel, Upper Street and Essex Road. We love being just minutes from Regent’s Canal, which has always been our place to find some peace and calm. The street sits within a Low Traffic Neighbourhood, which helps to keep noise and pollution levels low. The neighbourhood has excellent pubs, with The Hanbury being our favourite, and a great choice of restaurants, while everything that Upper Street has to offer is less than ten minutes away. Travel to central, north and east London is equally easy, so you can make the most of everything the city has to offer.
