"This has been a wonderful first home for us. The view across the city from the garden is amazing and quite a rare thing to find in a garden flat. We love living in Totterdown because of the lovely community here, the abundance of green spaces, and the great places to eat and drink. Perrett Park is a five-minute walk away and our favourite place to watch the sunset or the Balloon Fiesta. Renovating the flat has been a joy, and we hope the next owners enjoy living here as much as we have."
The Home
A delightful one-bedroom garden flat in a converted Victorian terraced house in Totterdown, which has been significantly renovated and enhanced. As you enter via the flat’s own private entrance, you’ll find a hallway with engineered wood flooring. To your left is the well-proportioned double bedroom, fitted with a double-glazed bay window, full-height custom shelving for storage, and made-to-measure Venetian-style blinds. The bathroom is accessed via the hallway, and features a shower over bath.
Finally, you come to the open-plan living/dining room, which connects to the kitchen. The living room is a flexible space, perfect for relaxing or entertaining, and has been carefully styled and redecorated. New double-glazed patio doors offer direct access to the garden. The kitchen has been fully renovated, with the layout reconfigured to maximise size and space. Here, you’ll find a contemporary design with integrated appliances, new tiling, and flooring.
The Outside
French doors open onto a raised patio area offering spectacular views across Bristol, with steps leading down to the rest of the garden - all for the private use of this flat. There is also a secluded space to the front of the property for bike and bin storage.
Living in Totterdown
Totterdown is a hugely popular part of Bristol, located in the south-east of the city. Within a five-minute walk of the flat, you’ll find The Sundial Kitchen, Fox & West Deli, and Bank.
For those looking for green space, there are few better places in Bristol. The nearby Victoria Park offers approximately 50 acres of open space with fantastic views of the city. Perrett’s Park and Arnos Vale are also just a short walk away.
Just minutes away is Zone A - a plot on Wells Road between Highgrove and Firfield - which has been given to the community and provides a unique space with benches, trees, and artwork, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Totterdown is ideal for those working in Bristol or commuting to nearby cities via Temple Meads station. For drivers, Wells Road offers easy access both into the city and out towards the M32 or the countryside of Chew Valley, the Mendips, and North Somerset.
