An extended detached family home with on a desirable cul de sac in Marlow Bottom, with far-reaching views and a larger-than-usual garden.
Description
This spacious and versatile family home has been extensively improved in recent years to create a stylish, light and airy residence. The link-detached home was originally built in the 1970s and was extended to the rear in 2016 with a two-storey extension. The interior has also been opened up to create a wonderfully open and flowing layout and the decor has been modernised throughout. The striking red gloss kitchen leads to a dining area and a fabulous family room at the rear, which is lit from above by a glazed roof. To the side of the kitchen there is a useful utility room with space for laundry machines. A separate sitting room can be accessed from the hallway, family room and the kitchen, providing a lovely separate space. Upstairs there are four good-size double bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with en suite shower room, and an attractively appointed family bathroom.
The house is set in an elevated position at the end of a cul de sac, tucked away from main roads. A driveway sits to the side of the house and leads up to an attached garage which has been partly converted for storage, ideal for garden furniture and seasonal items. To the front of the house there is a paved terrace overlooking a parcel of lawn, ideal for capturing the morning sun.
The rear garden backs onto mature woodland, with natural shade to the rear and wooden panel fencing enclosing the lawn. The garden follows the contours of the land, beginning with a stylish paved terrace perfect for alfresco entertaining, leading to a deep and well-stocked border, and culminating in the expansive lawn which rises to a boundary of mature trees. From the top of the garden there are glorious views back over the valley and surrounding woodland.
