I have had the pleasure of calling Howell Close our home for the past 20 years, having moved in as newly weds in late 2005. It has been the perfect place to start and raise our family, especially after welcoming our 2 daughters which led us to extend the property in 2015, avoiding the need to leave the area we loved so much.
During our time here, we have created countless memories. The peaceful, quiet setting has been ideal for family life, and the private rear garden has provided the perfect backdrop for sunny days entertaining our friends and families, all made possible with the ample off road parking that our house the kids grew and schools became part of everyday life having easy access to both primary and secondary schools has resulted in safe and stress free school runs that don’t need the car! The girls have fostered great friendships making the most of the local parks and green spaces. With hybrid working becoming the new norm after Covid, Howell Close been the perfect home to adapt to these new requirements with flexible space and easy access to the countryside to help manage those stressful moments. It is amazing how a walk with the dog on the numerous bridle paths and open spaces on the door step can help achieve a great work life balance.
The property itself offers bright and versatile accommodation, including 4 double bedrooms and a total of three bathrooms. The spacious kitchen/dining room at the rear of the house provides direct access to the garden. Additional benefits include an additional downstairs room, an integral garage and amble parking on the drive for 3 cars.
The location has also been a real advantage. Having Co-op just a short walk away has been incredibly convenient, and the recent opening of Sainsbury’s in Arborfield means all our shopping needs are met without leaving the village! In summary, Howell Close has been a wonderful home for our family, and we are confident that the new owners will enjoy it every bit as much as we have. Although we will be sad to leave, our circumstances have changed, and it is time for us to move on. We hope the next chapter here brings as much happiness to its future owners as it has to us.
