The sellers view...
We moved into 19 Lea House in 2014, right when Kidwells Close first launched, and we were immediately drawn to the balance of convenience and green space. At the time we were commuting into London, so being under a 10‐minute walk from the front door to the station platform made everyday life so much easier. Having Kidwells Park and the communal gardens right outside also gave the development a peaceful, open feel that we loved from day one.
The flat itself was the perfect first home for us. The open‐plan kitchen and living area made it a great space for having friends over, and the built‐in wardrobe and hallway cupboard meant we never struggled for storage. Kidwells Close has always had a friendly, community feel, over the years we’ve made some wonderful friendships here, which has been one of the real joys of living in this development. Another big plus has been having our own dedicated parking space, which has been incredibly convenient.
The communal areas have always been well looked after. The management company keeps everything clean, tidy, and well maintained, which really adds to the sense of ease and care in the building.
We lived in the flat very happily until 2018, when we moved into a two‐bedroom home elsewhere in Kidwells Close, a sign of how much we value the development and its location. Since then, the flat has been rented to tenants who have taken good care of it.
We still live in Kidwells Close and are now ready for the next chapter as we look to buy our long‐term family home. It feels like the right moment for someone new to enjoy this flat as much as we have.
