About this property
We have lived at No 8 Garfield Road, St George for almost 8 years and have loved every moment of it. The house is so close to St George Park and the high street, and we love being able to walk down with our baby daughter via The Orchard for honestly world class pastries, brunch and coffee! We are on a super regular bus route straight into town, with a little Tesco Express around the corner that we think of as our pantry that we haven’t paid for yet! The back of the house looks due south over allotments and a playing field, is a sun trap during the day but with a bit of cool shade at the bottom of the garden. Sitting out there on a summers evening in front of the fire pit; it is so tranquil and dark that you can see all the stars and you cannot hear the city around you. We are moving out of St George for a new job in a new town, but are reticent to leave such a fantastic neighbourhood, which has really come on so much in the last 8 years. With no signs of slowing down, St George is going from strength to strength and I have absolutely no doubt that whomever decides to make this house their home will make some fantastic memories here.
The home
A thoughtfully decorated three bedroom home nestled in a quiet close. On entering the home there is a hallway with WC on the left and the well-equipped modern kitchen positioned on the right. Through to the rear of the home is the living room and dining space. The large doors out to the garden flood this space with natural light, there is a cosy feel and the space provides space for family life and entertaining. Upstairs to the first floor there are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. The largest of the bedrooms is in the loft, it's a generous size and has an en-suite shower and WC and plenty of storage.

Living in St George
This beautiful three bedroom terraced house is located on a small close off Bell Hill Road, east of St George’s Park and within easy reach of Church Road. St George’s Park is one of the city’s most popular green spaces providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a café, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with this property near to the Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters Bell Hill Road is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
