Seller's view
We bought this house brand new back in 2020. We were first time buyers and we felt incredibly lucky to buy a house in Yateley so close to Yateley Green and to start building our family.
Since then our house has grown with us and we now have a young family. We have been part of a really loving community. We are incredibly lucky with our neighbours who were so welcoming when we first moved in.
This house has been a perfect starter up for our family and we have made so many memories in it.
Letting go of this home is bittersweet, but it’s ready for the next couple or family to make it their own. We hope they’ll be as happy here as we’ve been.
Chris' comments
This is just a really well kept, easy to live in home. You can tell straight away that it’s been looked after properly, everything’s in great condition and ready to move into.
The main living space is a big selling point. It’s open plan, really bright, and those bi-fold doors out to the garden make it feel even bigger, especially in the summer when you’ve got them open. It’s a great space for day to day living or having a few mates over.
The kitchen’s well presented, nice and neutral, and having the downstairs toilet is one of those practical extras that just makes life easier.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are a good size and the bathroom’s spot on, again, no work needed.
The garden’s a decent size too, and the bar setup at the end is a nice touch, perfect for a summer evening drink. It’s the kind of garden that works just as well for a BBQ as it does for just sitting out with a coffee.
It’s a quiet spot, but still close to schools, shops and everything else you need. A great option for anyone looking for a home that’s ready to go.
Area view
Yateley’s one of those places that just works. It’s got a real community feel to it - people tend to stay here a long time, which says a lot. You’ve got everything you need close by: Good local schools, green spaces, shops, and a good selection of pubs too.
One of the big selling points is how much outdoor space there is. You’ve got Yateley Common, the lakes, Hawley Woods, loads of places to walk the dog, go for a run, or just get out for a bit of fresh air. And even though it feels quiet and tucked away, you’re still really well connected with easy routes to the M3, A30, and nearby train stations like Blackwater and Fleet.
It’s great for families, great for first-time buyers and just a nice place to live where everything’s on your doorstep but it never feels hectic.
