Owner's Comments
When I bought Tremarran, I fell in love straight away. It’s full of character and history, with a little modern twist, and has such a calming feel. The bedroom in the watchtower is a real highlight. At 58, it’s the only home i’ve ever truly felt proud of. I’ll be sad to see it go, but I hope someone else will enjoy it as much as I have over the past three years.
i’ll miss the sense of community most of all. When I moved in, I was a single woman and unsure about living in a shared building, but everyone is friendly and helpful. We have a WhatsApp group to share messages, parcels, or parking, and a few yearly gatherings in the garden—but you can join in as much or as little as you like.
Ivybridge itself is wonderful. Tremarran is just a short walk into town, with shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and there are lovely green spaces nearby. I first moved here 13 years ago for my son, and it quickly became home. The friendliness, the convenience, and the community spirit are things i’ll truly miss—and I hope to return here when I retire.
