Description
Perfectly positioned close to the vibrant amenities of Weybridge High Street, Birch Wey offers an exceptional blend of convenience, charm, and privacy. Built in 1964 and lovingly cared for ever since, this detached chalet-style property combines traditional brickwork with contemporary timber accents, giving it a unique and enduring appeal. Remarkably, this is the first time the property has come to the market in 62 years, reflecting just how cherished and well maintained it has been by the same family for over half a century.

Designed with flexible family living in mind, and offering excellent scope for further development (STPP), the home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a double garage, and a large in and out driveway.

Upon entering, you are welcomed directly into the spacious living room, where herringbone parquet flooring sets a warm and elegant tone, beautifully complementing the timber panelling. A large picture window floods the room with natural light and frames views of the driveway. A striking 1970s-style brick fireplace forms the focal point of the space, while the adjoining dining area enjoys generous windows overlooking the garden, creating an inviting setting for everyday meals and entertaining.

From the living room, the well proportioned, neutrally decorated kitchen offers good storage and direct access to the garage, which in turn opens out to the rear garden. A set of double doors leads into a wonderful second reception area featuring sliding doors to the garden and full wood panelling for a warm, intimate feel. From here, the second bedroom is accessed, complete with its own ensuite bathroom, making it ideal for guests or multigenerational living.

Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms, two of them offering generous storage, as well as a family bathroom. This level provides plenty of flexibility for modern working and family life.

The rear garden is of excellent size, surrounded by mature trees, shrubs, and planting that create a wonderfully private outdoor space, perfect for families, gardening enthusiasts, or those seeking a peaceful retreat. There is also an impressive built in barbeque on the left hand side of the garden.

With such a large plot and a layout ripe for reimagining, the property presents an exciting opportunity to modernise, extend (STPP), and truly put your own stamp on this much loved home.
