Why Buy This home.........
First impressions really count, and this home has them in abundance. From the brook running outside the property, to the sash windows and the open views across rolling fields, it’s easy to see why the current owners have happily called this house home since 2011.
The entrance hall is generously sized, offering plenty of space for hellos and goodbyes without ever feeling cramped. To the right is a handy home office, ideal for keeping work and home life nicely separate.
To the left is a versatile reception room, perfect as a dining area, playroom for younger children, a cosy snug, or even a second home office. Its adaptable layout makes it easy to suit the changing needs of a growing family.
At the back of the house is the kitchen, complemented by a separate utility room. The kitchen itself features light cupboards paired with wood-effect worktops, creating a warm and inviting feel. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and double oven, while the washing machine is conveniently housed in the utility room. There’s plenty of space for a four- or six-seater table, and if you need more room, the second reception room could easily serve as a grand dining area, perfect for hosting family gatherings.
The living room is one of the home’s standout features. Despite the large kitchen, the space remains generously proportioned, easily accommodating a three-piece suite or a traditional corner sofa, making it perfect for family relaxation or hosting guests. French doors open directly onto the recently landscaped garden, which features a lovely patio ideal for al fresco dining, summer barbecues, or morning coffees. The low-maintenance Astroturf makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors without the upkeep, while a garden shed provides practical storage and a gate offers convenient access to the driveway and garage. This is a space designed for both everyday family life and memorable gatherings.
Heading up to the first floor, the brand-new carpet laid throughout both the first and second floors is immediately noticeable - one less thing for the new owners to worry about. The spacious landing provides a natural separation between the principal bedroom, second bedroom, and fifth bedroom.
The principal bedroom is a generous space, easily fitting a super-king-size bed, and enjoys peaceful views over the rolling fields. A built-in wardrobe keeps the room uncluttered, while the ensuite, complete with a double shower and its own window, adds a touch of luxury.
The second bedroom, at the back of the house overlooking the garden, sits next to the principal and also has its own ensuite, perfect for older children or visiting family who want their own space. The fifth bedroom is currently a music room, but would be ideal for the youngest family member, keeping them close to mum and dad while still giving them their own space.
This floor has been thoughtfully designed to combine comfort, practicality, and family-friendly living, giving everyone their own private space while keeping the home feeling open and connected.
On the top floor, there are two double bedrooms, offering older children their own sense of space and independence. Whether they need a quiet spot to study or a place to hang out with friends, each room is perfectly suited. Alternatively, one room could be used as a bedroom and the other as a private living area for one lucky child. The two bedrooms are separated by a well-appointed bathroom with a shower, providing convenience and privacy for all.
Parking is provided by a driveway with space for two to three cars, a garage, and plenty of additional communal parking.
More about the location.....
For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown. Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale.
Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.
Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away. In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. Ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
