Location:

Begbroke is a charming and picturesque village located in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire. The village is situated approximately 5 miles north of Oxford city centre and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Begbroke has a population of around 1,000 people and is a peaceful and quiet place to live.

The village has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Bronze Age. In the 12th century, Begbroke was owned by the Cistercian Abbey of Eynsham, and later became part of the Blenheim Estate. Today, the village is home to a number of historic buildings, including the 13th century St Michael's Church and the Grade II listed Begbroke Manor House. The renowned Blenheim Palace in Woodstock is just over 3 miles away with all its history and scenic splendour.

Despite its small size, Begbroke has a strong sense of community and is home to a number of local amenities. These include a village hall, a primary school, a post office, and a pub. The village is also well-connected, with regular bus services to Oxford and the surrounding areas. Oxford Parkway Rail Station is just over 4 miles away which services Oxford to London Marylebone or in the opposite direction just under 4 miles is Long Hanborough Station which again services Oxford, London Paddington and Worcester.
