'What The Owner Says'
Why I Have Loved Living on Garrick Street, Covent Garden
Living on Garrick Street has meant living in the very heart of London and truly participating in it. From the moment I moved in, this apartment became more than an address; it became the backdrop to some of the best years of my life.
Everything is on your doorstep. I could step outside and within minutes be in the Piazza, seated at the Royal Opera House, or walking into a West End premiere. Dinners, galleries, long lunches, riverside walks along the Thames – Central London has always felt like an extension of my living room. The spontaneity has been one of the greatest luxuries: A last-minute ballet, friends arriving for a show, or deciding over drinks to simply wander through the city.
And drinks have often started here.
The apartment naturally became a gathering place - for pre-theatre champagne, post-dinner conversations that stretched late into the night, and parties that friends still talk about years later. Some of those friends now live in different parts of the world, yet Garrick Street remains part of our shared story.
Despite being at the centre of it all, the apartment itself feels calm and private. The large windows frame the city beautifully, while inside there is quiet and warmth.
It has also been a strong investment, vacant only a handful of nights over two decades. But more importantly, it has been a home filled with laughter, culture and unforgettable memories - truly Central London living at its best.
