About this property

" Having this much outdoor space in Bristol feels special. A Summer afternoon might mean a walk home through the park, and then the back doors are open and the BBQ’s on. Weekends are usually slow starts, coffee in the garden and plans that drift between North Street, perhaps tennis in the park and back home again. Then there are the afternoons tending to tomatoes in the greenhouse, or off to the cabin to tinker on small wood working projects. It’s been a dream house for our time in Bristol. "

    The house

A two bedroom mid terrace house with a fabulous south facing garden. Downstairs there is a reception room to the front overlooking to the street and to the rear is the dining room, spanning the width of the property and leads to the kitchen which overlooks the garden. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a view of Clifton Suspension Bridge, and the bathroom.

    The outside

The size of garden at the property is without doubt one of the key selling points of the house, which the owners have planted with cottage garden flowers and a miniature apple tree. Benefiting from a sunny south easterly aspect, the gardens on this side of the terrace have long been popular additions for local residents. There is plenty of space for anyone looking to grow their own veg or host summer parties.

    Living in Windmill Hill

Somerset Terrace Street is in Windmill Hill, with sweeping views across South Bristol and located right by Victoria Park. Head into neighbouring Bedminster’s and you’ll hit North and East Street, with more indie stores and coffee shops including The Bristol Loaf, Southville Deli, Boona Boona Coffee Roasters and Pinkmans. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants and bars, including Bombil, Alpha Bottle Shop, and Michelin-recommended other just around the corner on Cannon Street.

Bedminster train station is a short walk away, and takes you directly to Bristol Temple Meads where you can connect to Bath Spa (11 minutes) and London Paddington (1 hour 35 minutes). Windmill Hill Farm Nursery, Victoria Park primary school, and St Mary Redcliffe primary school are all within walking distance.
