The sellers view...
We bought this house as our first home in Maidenhead and have lived here for nearly 12 very happy years. From the start, it felt like home. Over time, we’ve carefully improved it - fully renovating the upstairs bathroom, paving the driveway and fitting blinds in the bedrooms. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom has been especially welcome in winter, and the large windows bring in an incredible amount of natural light throughout the day.
One of the things we’ve valued most is the neighbourhood. It’s friendly, supportive and genuinely welcoming - the kind of place where neighbours know each other and stop for a chat. It has made a real difference to our experience of living here.
We’ve also been fortunate to fall within the catchment for Lowbrook Academy, which was recently recognised by The Sunday Times as the best primary school in the South East and among the top in England. Being just a seven-minute walk away has made school runs simple, and it’s been lovely for our son to have friends living close by.
The private garden has been a peaceful retreat - not overlooked and designed to be low maintenance, so it’s easy to enjoy. It’s a great space to relax, particularly on sunny mornings.
The location has also worked extremely well for us: Convenient for the motorway and airport, and within easy reach of the train station, offering services on the Elizabeth Line and with Great Western Railway, making commuting straightforward.
This house has been the backdrop to such an important chapter of our lives. We will truly miss it - and the community around it - as we move to be closer to our son’s new school. It’s a home that’s been well loved and we genuinely hope the next family feels as settled and happy here as we have.
