When we first saw this house, it was the space and the setting that drew us in, with the added bonus in many period style features! Living beside Beverley Minster and having everything close by, yet still having private off-street parking for multiple vehicles, felt incredibly rare for such a central location.

At the time it needed full renovation, but we loved the proportions, the light and the potential of this property. Over the years we’ve made many improvements in addition to the most recent extensive renovation program, creating a home that feels calm, practical and ready for family life while keeping some original character.

Living here has been incredibly easy. School runs, parks, commuting, dog walks, shopping, leisure centre, cinema, are just a few things that are all close by. Inside, there’s been space to work from home, host, and has comfortably held a busy family of five, with room for everyone to have their own space.

The south-facing garden has been a quiet place to unwind, and we’ve always appreciated that there’s still scope to extend further if desired.
