Owners Comments...
This has been our home since December 2021, and from the moment we saw it, we knew it was somewhere special. We instantly fell in love with the warmth of the house, the spacious feel, and the lovely outlook onto the garden - it just felt right. Over the last four years, it has given us so much happiness, comfort, and joy.
We’ve enjoyed so many memorable moments here: Early mornings in the garden with a coffee in the sunshine, walks through the beautiful local walking trails in the meadows, BBQs and wine with the neighbours in the garden, and weekend trips to the garden centre café just a short walk away. We’ve loved being within easy reach of great pubs - the Shinfield Arms has definitely become a favourite and having Lidl and the Co‐op close by has made life wonderfully convenient.
What we’ll cherish the most, though, is the community. It’s a truly fabulous neighbourhood - friendly, safe, family‐oriented, with good schools, parks, and some genuinely lovely neighbours who make everyday life that little bit brighter. It’s the kind of place where people look out for one another, and we feel grateful to have experienced that.
The only reason we’re moving is to relocate to be closer to family who need our support. Otherwise, we would have happily stayed for many more years. If we could lift the home and the community and take it with us we would in a heartbeat.
We hope the next owners fall in love with this home just as we did and make as many happy memories here as we have. It has been such a joyful place to live, and we will always look back with gratitude for the time we’ve spent here.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments...
If you’re looking for a really, really good home in Shinfield Meadows, this one is going to put a big smile on your face.
Built by Bloor Homes to their ever-popular Houghton design, it enjoys a great position right at the edge of the development, with a lovely open outlook onto green space. Step inside and the layout is superb. At the front, there’s a beautiful lounge complete with a stylish media wall, extra fire and built-in storage, it’s a really cool space to relax in. Wooden shutters downstairs add a smart, polished finish, and there’s also a separate study, perfect for working from home or even a playroom.
Across the rear of the house is where things get seriously impressive. The kitchen/breakfast/family room stretches right across the back and is absolutely huge. One side features a vaulted ceiling, giving the whole space a light, airy feel. It’s the kind of room that’s made for entertaining, busy family mornings and everything in between. Just off the kitchen is a separate utility room and it’s massive. It also gives you direct access to the driveway and garage, which is brilliantly practical. Upstairs you’ll find four bedrooms, including a main bedroom with its own en-suite. The family bathroom is a generous four piece suite with a double shower too.
The whole property is exquisitely finished throughout, meaning you can simply move in and start enjoying it from day one. Even better, there’s no onward chain so things can move as smoothly as the house itself.
