Awesome, Extended Detached Family Home In Hazlemere

Tucked away in a small cul-de-sac just moments from Hazlemere Crossroads, this extended and remodelled four bedroom detached home offers generous, well-balanced accommodation that works perfectly for modern family life.
The current owners have significantly improved the property in recent years, most notably with a front extension that has created an exceptionally spacious kitchen and breakfast room. This has become the real heart of the home, providing a bright and sociable space for everyday living.
The ground floor also offers a superb living room, a separate family room, utility room and downstairs cloakroom, giving the house plenty of flexibility for families who need space to spread out.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with ensuite, along with a family bathroom.
Outside, the rear garden is private and easy to maintain, providing a pleasant space to relax or entertain. To the front there is driveway parking for several vehicles.
The location is particularly convenient, with Hazlemere Crossroads just a short walk away offering local shops, cafés and everyday amenities including Tesco Express, a butcher, chemist and other independent businesses. High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham are all within easy reach, while High Wycombe station provides regular trains into London Marylebone.
A well presented family home in a popular Hazlemere location, offering space, convenience and modern living.

Sellers View..."We moved to Oakengrove Road when our children were young as we needed the extra room. We’ve lived in Hazlemere for the last 14 years, most of them spent in this property. We have always loved the peacefulness of Hazlemere as well as its sense of community and Oakengrove Road, as a cul-de-sac offered us the quiet, safe and welcoming home we wanted to raise our family in.

It’s in a fantastic location to live in; walking distance to good schools for our children, as well being convenient to pop to the shops, cafes and enjoy the local parks.

We bought the property knowing we wanted to extend eventually to make the space as bright and usable as possible. The extension to the front of the house has made a massive difference to the way we live as a family. Completing this just before lockdown was a huge bonus as we all had a space to work without feeling like we were on top of one another. Creating different sections in the garden has also really improved the way we use the space. Before it was just one patch of grass and a patio. Now, especially during the warmer months, we can enjoy the sun all day while the children still have space to play. We can now all enjoy being outside together.

With me working in London a lot of the time, it’s great having the option of different train stations only a couple of miles away in each direction. Also having the convenience of the cinemas, shopping and sports facilities of High Wycombe and Amersham close by but still living in a village is a real plus."

Area View...Hazlemere is a popular choice for families thanks to its strong community feel and excellent schooling options. The property is conveniently located near Hazlemere Crossroads, where you’ll find everyday amenities including a convenience store, butcher, chemist, cafés and other local shops. The area is particularly well known for its highly regarded primary schools and access to Buckinghamshire’s grammar school system, making it an attractive location for families planning long term.
For families who enjoy the outdoors, Hazlemere is surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of nearby walks, parks and open spaces. High Wycombe town centre is just a short drive away offering a wider range of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, while High Wycombe station provides regular train services to London Marylebone for commuters. This balance of village living, schooling and connectivity is a big part of why Hazlemere remains so popular with growing families.
