    There are various sports and leisure facilities available in the area including indoor swimming pools, squash, badminton and outdoor bowls. Six golf courses are found within the local area, the Tehidy Park Golf Club within a mile, as well as several riding centres. The charming Cornish town of St. Ives, approximately 16 miles away, is one of the UK’s foremost holiday destinations. The maze of cobbled streets in St Ives provides a wide variety of quality restaurants and cafe bars. The cobbled streets lead down onto the picturesque harbour, where the fishing boats return with their catch, and there is the possibility of seeing seals and dolphins in the bay.
