Edwardian townhouse with character and off-street parking in central beverley

Summary
This classic edwardian terraced home is perfectly positioned on Norwood, just a short stroll from Beverley’s bustling town centre. With two double bedrooms, a four-piece bathroom, and a practical kitchen with utility and ground floor WC, this property offers a blend of period charm and modern convenience. The rear garden is a lovely spot to enjoy, and the added bonus of private off-street parking makes this home a rare find in such a central location.

From the Agent’s Perspective
This property is a fantastic example of an Edwardian townhouse that has been thoughtfully updated while keeping its original character intact. The entrance hall sets the tone with its beautiful tiled flooring, leading to the open plan living and dining rooms, both featuring high ceilings, ornate coving, and feature fireplaces. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of storage and some integrated appliances, and the utility room with a ground floor WC is a practical addition.

Upstairs, the two double bedrooms are well-proportioned, and the house bathroom is a standout feature with its four-piece suite and travertine tiling. Outside, the forecourt garden adds kerb appeal, while the rear garden is a great space to enjoy with its lawn, planters, and useful store shed. The off-street parking is a real bonus, especially in such a central location. This home is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the lifestyle that Beverley has to offer.

From the Client’s/Vendor’s Perspective
When we first saw this house, we fell in love with its character and location. Over the years, we’ve worked hard to enhance its original features while making it a comfortable and practical home. The living and dining rooms are spaces we’ve really enjoyed, especially with the fireplaces adding a cosy feel. The kitchen has been a great space for us, and having the utility room and downstairs WC has been so useful.

The upstairs layout has worked perfectly for us, with two good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom that feels like a little bit of luxury with its four-piece suite. Outside, the rear garden has been a lovely place to relax, and the off-street parking has been a real game-changer for us, especially being so close to the town centre. We’ve loved living here and hope the next owners will enjoy it as much as we have.

Agents Note: The fireplaces are gas affect and are capped so are not functioning.
