Seller's View
We have absolutely loved living in this home. The house itself is wonderfully bright and welcoming, with large windows that allow lots of natural light in throughout the day. Several of the rooms are double aspect, which not only enhances the sense of space and also gives a lovely airy feel throughout the property.
The setting of the house has been one of our favourite things about living here. The estate is incredibly attractive and peaceful, with picturesque lakes and plenty of green space to walk around.
Another highlight is how convenient the location is. We’ve loved being able to walk to the local pubs and into Binfield Village, which has a great community feel and useful amenities. Being close to such a wonderful local school has also been a huge benefit and we also love having the Lexicon so close by.
Overall, this has been a fantastic place to live; a bright, comfortable home in a beautiful setting with everything you need close by. It will always hold very happy memories for us.
Chris’s Comments
What I really like about this home is how well it balances modern design with practical family living. Built by Bloor Homes on the popular Fairways development, it’s a property that feels thoughtfully laid out from the moment you walk through the door.
The entrance hall is bright and welcoming and leads nicely through the ground floor. To the front you have a comfortable living room, a great space to relax in the evenings, while to the rear the home really opens up with a superb kitchen dining area. This is clearly the heart of the house. The kitchen has a modern, clean finish with plenty of storage and worktop space, and there’s room for a good sized dining table as well. With doors opening straight out to the garden it’s a space that works really well for everyday life as well as when you have friends or family round.
Upstairs the layout continues to make sense. The principal bedroom is a really good size and benefits from built in wardrobes and its own en suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are both well proportioned and are served by a modern family bathroom, making the house very practical for growing families.
Outside, the south facing garden has been landscaped to be attractive but easy to maintain. The Indian sandstone patio creates a great area for outdoor seating or summer dining, with lawn space beyond that still gives you room for children or pets to enjoy.
The property also benefits from a long garage and driveway parking, which is always useful for storage or future flexibility, and there’s a generous loft space that could potentially be extended into in the future, subject to the usual permissions.
Location wise it works really well. You’re close to Binfield village for everyday amenities, with Bracknell and The Lexicon just a short drive away for a much wider choice of shops and restaurants. Families are well served by local schools including Kings Academy Binfield, and commuters have good access to Bracknell station, the M3 and M4, as well as Twyford for Elizabeth Line connections into London.
Overall it’s a modern, well built home that’s ready to move straight into, in a location that continues to be very popular with buyers.
Area View – Binfield
Binfield is a village that has become increasingly popular with buyers who want a quieter setting while still being close to everything Bracknell has to offer. It manages to keep a real village feel, with local pubs, cafés, a Co op, bakery and other everyday amenities all centred around the village green.
For families, schooling is one of the big draws. Kings Academy Binfield is highly regarded and within easy reach, along with a number of well thought of primary schools in the surrounding area.
Just a short drive away is Bracknell town centre and The Lexicon, which offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafés and leisure facilities. It means you have the convenience of a large town nearby while still living in a more residential village environment.
Commuters are well served too. Bracknell train station provides regular services into Reading and London Waterloo, while the M3 and M4 are easily accessible for travel towards London, Heathrow and the wider motorway network.
Overall, Binfield offers a great balance of village living, strong schooling options and excellent connectivity, which is why it continues to be such a popular place for families and commuters alike.
