About this property

“Restoring Grove Park Road back to its former glory has been a real joy. The street is lovely and quiet and passing neighbours are smiley and friendly. It feels like a lovely, safe neighbourhood in which i'd happily live. I’ve enjoyed walking to Sandy Park for a coffee and in Kin, and stocking up in tasty treats in the deli. I really hope the next owners enjoy this wonderful house”

    The house

A mid terrace Victorian house that has been renovated throughout by its current owner. Downstairs is an open plan living room/reception room with a bay window raised above the street letting in masses of light and double doors to the rear to the garden. The kitchen has been knocked through and opened up to create a modern kitchen/diner with feature window overlooking the garden and there is an additional downstairs loo. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two of which are great doubles and a modern family bathroom.

    The outside

The rear garden has a decked area for outdoor dining and a good lawn. It is also a blank canvas and ready to be planted with shrubs and trees. There is also rear access to a lane.

    Living in Brislington

Situated in a lovely pocket of houses in Brislington, this property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops and cafes including Grounded and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Miro Lounge and Alex Does Coffee. Tapestry and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance.

The area is popular with young professionals and families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wrap around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese’s Riverside Bar to the west. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Holymead and Broomhill Infants and Juniors. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre.
