Introduction
This delightful two bedroom cottage is situated in the popular coastal village of Burton Bradstock, within easy reach of Hive Beach and the Jurassic Coastal Path. Understandably Grade II Listed, the cottage has wonderful period features and has been sympathetically improved under the current ownership, to create a cosy and comfortable home.
The Property
The cottage is set back from the road with a pretty walled front garden leading to the enclosed porch. The living/dining room is open plan with exposed beams and has a focal point of a feature fireplace equipped with a woodburning stove and a dining area to one end, incorporating a charming window seat. The contemporary kitchen is attractively fitted, with a range of wall and base units with an electric oven and hob and space for an under counter fridge. A rear hall leads to the garden and the family bathroom.
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and a good sized landing, taking in the wonderful rural views.
Outside
To the front is a pretty garden setting the cottage back from the road, with a small gravel area and planted borders. The rear garden is a particular feature being south west facing, and taking in uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside.
