Located in the centre of Aylesford, Mount Pleasant is a three-bedroom, one-bathroom terraced house that works well for modern living whilst being surrounded by some of Kent-s oldest history. It-s a practical home in a village known for its community feel and riverside walks.

Inside the House:
The ground floor has been opened to create a large kitchen, lounge, and dining area. This makes the space feel much bigger than a typical older terrace and lets in plenty of natural light through the large rear window, which offers fantastic views. It-s a great setup for a family or for having people over, as the kitchen is part of the main living space rather than being tucked away in a separate room.

The house has been well cared for by the current owner. It-s in good, clean condition throughout, meaning you could move straight in without having to worry about immediate renovations. It-s a solid, honest house that has been kept to a good standard.

Upstairs and Extras:
On the first floor, there are three decent-sized bedrooms. In many houses in this area, the third bedroom is often quite small, but here it offers a fair amount of space with room for a double bed, whether you need it for kids, guests, or a home office. There is also a clean, functional family bathroom.

One of the biggest plus points for this property is the private garage, which is useful for a car or for extra storage. It also has its own allocated off-road parking space to the rear, which is accessed from the property via stairs from the hall to the lower level.

A small garden sits at the front of the property.

A Bit About Aylesford:
Aylesford is one of those places that has been inhabited for thousands of years. It-s famous for its 14th-century medieval bridge that crosses the River Medway-you-ll see it on almost every local postcard. Just a short walk from the house is Aylesford Priory (also known as The Friars), which dates to the 1200s and has great grounds for a walk.

The village centre itself is full of character, with plenty of Tudor and Victorian buildings. You-ve got local pubs like The Chequers and The Bush within easy reach, and for those interested in even older history, the Neolithic site of Kit-s Coty House is just up the road. It-s a village that feels tucked away but is very well-connected.

Location and Transport:
While the village has a quiet feel, it-s great for commuting. Aylesford railway station is just a 10-minute walk, giving you links to the Medway towns and connections to London Victoria or St Pancras in around one hour. If you drive, the M20 is only a couple of minutes away.
