Paul’s note -
“This is an exciting but also bittersweet listing for me because i’m helping my best friend sell his flat in Fulham. I’ve spent so much time here over the years that it genuinely feels like a home to me as well. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warmth to the space that is really special and reflects just how much care and thought has been put into it.
Some of my favourite memories have been made here, whether it’s been relaxing evenings hanging out together or celebrating milestones over the years, so it’s not an easy place for either of us to say goodbye to. That said, I know whoever comes next will feel exactly the same, enjoy it just as much as we have, and make it their own.
I’ve asked Dhruv to share a note as well.”
Dhruv’s note -
“Over the last five years, I have poured my heart and soul into this place. However, I can’t take all the credit because my wonderful partner Paige has also been a huge part of that over the last couple of years. When I first moved in, it was brand new, and we’ve really looked after it and designed it so it truly feels like our own.
There are so many things we love about living here that I could probably write a book on it, but i’ll keep it as short and sweet as I can. Firstly, the natural light in here is amazing. The large windows mean we’ve been able to catch both sunrise and sunsets each day. The skylight upstairs also floods the apartment with light throughout the day. The windows are triple glazed, which means it’s incredibly quiet inside.
The flat came with an enormous amount of storage, and we’ve also added extra storage, such as the wardrobes in the master bedroom that run the entire length of the wall. We also installed an office space in the same room, which gets amazing light from the Juliet balcony doors. We have installed air-conditioning in both rooms upstairs, which has made such a big difference in the warmer months.
We've completely opened up the living area and kitchen to make it free-flowing and open-plan which has been amazing for having our friends round for dinners and parties. Given it has just been the two of us living here, we currently use the second bedroom as a cinema room & snug. This could very easily be used as a second bedroom again by simply swapping out the furniture.
The location has also been a huge part of what’s made living here so special. We are a 3-minute walk away from the river (probably the best sunsets in London), a 5-minute walk away from the newly opened Fulham Pier, a 10-minute walk away from the amazing green spaces and tennis courts at Bishops Park, and a 15-minute walk away from Parsons Green, which has some of our favourite restaurants, cafes, and pubs.
In terms of getting around London, we’re a 15-minute walk away from Hammersmith, Parsons Green, and Putney Bridge stations, which means we’ve benefitted from having access to 4 tube lines (District, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Circle) since we’ve lived here, making getting to almost any corner of London super accessible. We’re also lucky that there is a bus stop outside our front door, with 3 different bus routes running from it that take you directly to South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Mayfair/Hyde Park, and Marylebone. If you’re feeling lazy or just don’t fancy the walk, the bus also takes you directly to Hammersmith or Putney Bridge tube station in 5 minutes. If driving is your thing, the flat also comes with two parking permits allocated.
We’ve put a lot of care into designing the space so it feels very warm, welcoming and really easy to live in. We have made some of our best memories in here, and a big part of us will be very sad to see it go, but we know whoever gets to enjoy this space next will love it just as much as we have.”
