"After several fruitless weekends househunting in 1972, we were about to give up when a tiny sign caught our eye saying "Miller Homes". Why not, we though, followed the signs and ended up at the sales house in Badger Road. The only two houses available were still unfinished, but 11 Bower Green, approached down a gravel path and with walls awaiting plaster, told us it was the house for us. Several neighbours who bought at the same time are still living nearby, which must say something. In 1990 we moved to a larger house not far away, but shortly after we left, Mum moved in from Lancashire and loved is as much as we had. Since then, we have had tenants but the time has come to let go. If you take it, you'll surely love both the house, the view and the peaceful neighboorhood as much as we did and make it your own."
