Owners Comments....
We were drawn to this property for its exceptional location and friendly neighbourhood, with excellent access to highly regarded schools including Watford Grammar School for Boys and Girls and Croxley Danes, as well as convenient tube and rail links. Cassiobury Park is just moments away, offering beautiful green space for families and pets, while the M25 and A41 are easily accessible. When we purchased the house, it had been in the same family for over 90 years and required full refurbishment. We embraced the opportunity to transform it into a bright, welcoming home, thoughtfully designed for both everyday living and entertaining. It has since been a peaceful yet well-connected space where we’ve created wonderful memories, and we’ve especially valued its sense of calm, space, and versatility. We will truly miss the warmth of this home and hope the next owners will enjoy it just as much as we have.
James The Agents Comments...
Homes on Gade Avenue are always popular thanks to their proximity to Cassiobury Park, one of the best green spaces in Hertfordshire. What I really like about this property is that much of the hard work has already been done with a rear extension creating a stylish, modern kitchen and updated bathrooms, so it’s ready for someone to move straight in and enjoy.
At the same time, the garage and side space give buyers the flexibility to extend further (subject to planning), which is exactly what many neighbouring homes have done to create substantial family houses. With the park, Town Centre, excellent schools and Watford Underground Station all nearby, this is the kind of home that appeals to both families and commuters alike.
