The area benefits from several tarmacked cycle paths which provide traffic free routes into the City Centre, or out towards the suburbs, or to Keynsham and Bath via the Bristol to Bath cycle path. At the bottom of the road is Ridgeway Playing Fields/Coombe Brooke Nature reserve, which is ideal for running, picnics, access to the Bristol/Bath cycle path. In terms of commuting to the centre, Temple Meads is a fifteen minute cycle and Harbourside is also twenty minutes.
