Access to the island is only by boat. I have a boat with an electric engine for the summer which i’ll provide with the house, but a petrol engine will be required in the winter months, when there is more current. A ferry service operates from both banks from Easter until the clocks change in the autumn.
There is unrestricted parking on both banks. Plenty of walking space on both banks, with Bushy Park to the North and Hurst Park to the South. It’s easy walking through Bushy Park to Hampton Hill, Hampton Wick, Kingston and Teddington.

Walking distance to Hampton village (with station) and Bridge Street in the Hampton Court area (also with station).

The island has mains water and sewage, gas, electricity and broadband. Council tax Band A is paid to Elmbridge Borough Council. There are communal rubbish and recycling bins located in the car park at Hurst Park.

I purchased the house in 2016, after which I extended forward by a metre and modernised.
