Brickworks says

This three-bedroom terrace in Wanstead comes with a rare suburban boon: Off-street parking. The façade embraces a clean, contemporary rhythm and, inside, the same aesthetic plays out. It’s a home that feels timeless rather than trend-led, ready to take on whatever aesthetic you bring to it.

The ground floor unfolds in one long, fluid sweep, carrying you from the front door through to the garden beyond. A palette of soft, neutral tones keeps things calm and restorative, while the rear extension - home to the kitchen - draws in light from above, making it an uplifting place to cook, gather or simply linger.

Upstairs, three double bedrooms offer spaces that can evolve as life does - guest rooms, workspaces or somewhere small people might one day sleep. Storage is neatly worked in where it’s most useful. And, to the rear, a generous south-facing garden stretches out, with a magnolia tree as its centrepiece, blossoming, fading and returning again, marking the seasons as they pass.

Life here is equally well balanced. Wanstead High Street is moments away for coffee, provisions and the odd indulgence, while the Central line is just five minutes on foot, whisking you into the city with ease.
The owners say

We've found the location really convenient, right near Wanstead High Street and the tube station. Plus, the Ginger Pig and Gail’s bakery, the convenience of M&S Food and Majestic Wine, and multiple independent coffee shops and wine bars.

Our long term favourite is Provender, a Michelin Bib Gourmand French restaurant, which has been a port in a storm for many years now. Then you've got Christchurch Green with its ancient trees; it’s a lovely spot, particularly in autumn.
