Versatile Countryside Home With Stunning Wrap-Around Garden Near Ludham Bridge
Agent’s Comments
Set in a beautiful position surrounded by open countryside and just moments from Ludham Bridge and the river, this is a home that offers both space and an incredible lifestyle.
Inside, the property is highly versatile, giving you the flexibility to set it up in a way that suits your needs. Whether that’s creating additional bedrooms, more living space, a dedicated home office, or even exploring the option of a self-contained annex or guest accommodation, there’s real scope here to adapt the home as your lifestyle evolves.
The standout feature, however, is the stunning wrap-around garden. Carefully established with a variety of planting, trees, and space for wildlife, it’s a garden that truly feels like an extension of the home. There are multiple areas to enjoy throughout the day - from a quiet morning coffee, to outdoor dining, or hosting family and friends for a summer BBQ.
Practicality is also well covered, with a double garage and a generous driveway, offering plenty of parking and storage.
The location is equally impressive. You can walk to the village pub, explore the nearby countryside, or enjoy days out at St Benet’s Abbey and How Hill, all right on your doorstep. Ludham itself is a well-served village, with a shop, doctors surgery, post office, and butchers, along with good transport links in and out of the area.
This is a home that combines space, flexibility, and a truly special setting - ideal for those looking to enjoy village life with the countryside all around them.
Vendor's Comments
When we moved here we said we wouldn’t need holidays anymore because it would be like being on holiday all the time... And it kinda is!
I love the views along the river, the gentle lapping of the water as the boats move sedately downstream as I walk the path to How Hill or St Benets Abbey.
I love sitting in the garden listening to the birds singing, observing their courtships followed by them bringing their young to our sanctuary.
I love the wildlife... Ducks, muntjac, pheasants, rabbits and toads all visit the garden, all a privilege to see!
Don’t forget the skies... Expanses of blue blue sky... Turning deep orange over the mill in the evenings...
Then there’s the village itself! Ludham, a friendly village has a huge community spirit... Groups to suit all interests, shops, hairdresser, butcher, post office, cinema, swimming pool and a fabulous pub! Never had a bad meal there!
